The Planet Mark is a sustainability certification which recognises outstanding achievements, encourages action, and builds an empowered community of like-minded individuals. Evans Vanodine is currently seeking to achieve certification to this programme and, in doing so, will be joining a community of organisations committed to reducing their carbon footprint, engaging their employees and communicating their results. On average, certified businesses make a 14% carbon saving per employee through reductions in energy, waste, water, travel and procurement.

“What organisations do in the next decade will almost certainly determine the course for humanity and our fellow passengers on planet earth. We need more rapid, more radical action from all our planets inhabitants to deliver a more positive, sustainable future. This mission has never been more critical. Every day, we are witnessing the damaging effects of the climate crisis around the globe. 2014 to 2018 were the five warmest years ever recorded. Now, there is half as much ice in the Arctic, rising sea-levels are causing extensive flooding and forests are catching fire with heart-breaking regularity. The effects on our lives, businesses and society as a whole are mounting but this does not have to continue. We can halt climate change and we must.”
The Planet Mark
