Dairy farmer, Jeremy Clark, was experiencing somatic cell count problems with milk which was causing the robotic milking system to reject milk from some cows. In order to reach the required quality levels, he needed to do more washes on the robots which was wasting valuable milking time. He felt they needed to find a solution which would restore their milk to its usual high quality.Jeremy was introduced to Evans Vanodine by his local distributor, Stow Agricultural, and was advised to try Sapphire Concentrate, a concentrated chlorhexidine and lactic acid teat disinfectant. He was delighted to find that bactoscan data showed that there was an immediate improvement in the quality of the milk. The cell count issues were also resolved over a short period of time.
Jeremy was delighted with the outcome and said: “I would recommend Evans Sapphire Concentrate to anyone using a robotic milking system. We have seen significant improvements in milk quality and plan to continue using this product.”
