14 October 2014
Each year on the 15th October, over 200 million people around the world are involved in celebrating Global Handwashing Day
The day was originally created for children and schools but can be celebrated by anyone to help promote hand hygiene. This is highly relevant to the food industry, as hands are one of the major sources and routes for cross–contamination. You can download a 'Now Wash Your Hands' poster from our Brochures and Leaflets page, which we hope will be helpful to you.
You can find out more about the day via http://globalhandwashing.org/ghw-day
