On the 29th March 2019, the UK will exit the European Union, the process commonly known as Brexit.

In order to mitigate the potential impact on our operations and customer service level, Evans Vanodine has for some time been making preparations with our suppliers to minimise any impact Brexit may have on our business.

Many of our key raw materials are manufactured by companies based in the EU member states. In anticipation of limited or delayed availability following Brexit, we are already underway with preparations with those suppliers to secure increased stock holding of these materials, where possible.

In the event of the UK Government choosing to apply tariffs in line with World Trade Organisation (WTO) rules to EU sourced raw materials, following Brexit, we will operate in line with Government guidelines and applicable law. To facilitate the export of our products into the EU, either by ourselves or by our customers, we will continue to observe and comply with the relevant EU regulations following Brexit.

Evans Vanodine is a chemical manufacturer with 100 years’ experience. We supply professional hygiene and livestock protection products to over 80 countries and as such we are used to complying with regulatory compliance and trade/border requirements worldwide. As a result, we are confident that with the support of our long established approved raw material supplier partners, Brexit will have minimal impact on our future business.

As the negotiations develop, we will continue to adjust our preparations accordingly. Meanwhile, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your Area Sales Manager or Evans Distributor.
