We believe the various expressions referring to cleaning & hygiene chemicals, such as 'Safe to the Environment' or 'Environmentally Friendly', are contradictions in terms as every chemical has some impact on the environment. There are many considerations to make when choosing a cleaning product and, in an effort to help the user, one of our very experienced research chemists, Sandra Wright, has devised a unique system for assessing the overall environmental impact of a product. We have called this the W.E.I.R. (Wright Environmental Impact Rating) System. The systems takes into account 7 criteria, which includes the formulation, manufacture, use and disposal of the product.
