Evans Vanodine is delighted to have been invited by UK Trade & Industry to be an ‘Export Champion’ for 2016, to help spread the export word in the North West.

Building on the initiative started in 2013, UKTI are assembling a group of around 100 companies, big and small, representing a range of sectors and covering all parts of the North West, to support and encourage more companies within the North West to export. Export Champions are companies that have successfully sold overseas and are willing to offer advice to others considering growth through exporting.

Peter Thompson, International Sales Manager, will be taking part in the scheme, which is recognition of the contribution Evans Vanodine has made to the economic growth of the region through exporting. The role will include speaking at seminars and workshops in 2016, telling how the company has been successful.

This opportunity follows on from Evans’ participation in the government’s recent ‘Northern Powerhouse’ trade mission, which took 62 of the most successful northern companies to Singapore and Malaysia aiming to rebalance the economy and attract overseas investment, led by the Prime Minister and Business Secretary.

Evans vanodine is also the proud recipient of recent a Queen's Award and BIBA win, both in the field of International Trade.
